I hate almost all of these Philly rumors so much. Horrible stuff.

I want nothing to do with Ghost . If tre for some reason wants voracek , the Flyers better be eating $1 million per year and giving up frost and farrabee

I prefer Ghost to Voracek. Even at $1M retained Voracek would be the highest cap hit the Flames have ever had on their roster.
The team is going to have 5 UFA Dmen so if there is a cap dump I take the sub $5M 27 year old Dman who has had 4 seasons of 35-65pts prior to this year where he struggled.

Yeah I don't have any problem with Gostisbehere being part of it as long as he's not the main part. He's a decent player who can help offset the salaries a little and fills a need.
Jake? No.

Ghost, Frost, Farabee, 2020 1st is the minimum I would accept from Philly.

Cam York would be my choice but my fear is that he might not sign here.

Last 5 seasons:
Gaudreau - 0.99 points per game
Voracek - 0.86 points per game
Voracek is 4 years older AND more expensive.
Gostisbehere is not really a prize pony here either.
That would have to be one hell of ####ing prospect.

I was trying to think what would make sense in a Gaudreau - Vorachek Gostisbehere + trade, then I saw Gostisbehere is a LHS D.
I don’t think there is a shred of truth to this.

Don’t worry we’d also be trading Noah Hanifin for uh...Anton Stralman! Then it’ll all make sense!
I really don’t want Ghost on this team.

First of all, let me say that I like Vorachek-I think he would fit in nicely here. He's still productive, he's quick, skilled, and has size to go along with a bit of a chip on his shoulder. He plays RW too. That said, If Philly wants us to take his contract at his age, as well as take Ghost's contract-there BETTER be at least 2 more pieces coming, be it a first rounder and a 1A prospect, or two 1A Prospects. AT LEAST. Philly should cover some of the cap too.

They can also take some salary off our hands.
Gaudreau Ryan(who I like) - Vorachek (1 million retained) Gostisbehere Frost (or Farabee) Patrick and 2020 1st.

In any deal with Voracek coming back, it makes it more difficult to fill out the defence, get a goalie AND sign Hall.
Honestly, if that is possible, I would much rather keep Johnny, fill out the defence, get a goalie and sign Hall.

I would rather keep Johnny for two more years and lose him for nothing than take on Voracek and his contract. The idea of trading Gaudreau is to upgrade your prospect base with an elite prospect and high draft pick. Why trade him for a declining player with an $8.2 million cap hit for four more years? That just doesn't make sense at all for the Flames unless the Flyers are sending Frost and their 1st round pick and even at it's a massive cap hit for a guy that doesn't score more than 20 goals.

I wonder how JG would do on the right side.
Hall - monahan - JG
Tkachuk - Backlund - Lindholm
Dube - Bennett - Magipagne
