What a ######
He also said Oilers trying to avoid being shutout for the third time this season and went on to mention the season opener (6-0 loss to the Jets) and the game in Montreal a couple of weeks ago. Somehow he forgot that they were also shutout on Roger's Place ice by the New Jersey Devils. So counting tonight the Oilers have been shutout 4 times. On pace for being shutout 16 times this season.

No, they are going to say: "Arvidsson is the BEST trade deadline pickup this year!"

The thing I like most about Edmonton is not living there.

My buddy who's an Oilers fan was telling me was putting up his Christmas tree today.

I told him he should put on a Skinner jersey so he can match, getting lit up like that Christmas tree, right off Team Canada

Absolute radio silence from him the rest of the day

I have Close friends that are Oiler fans. They also know that the years have been wasted. They know that the Oilers are no good.

9 games is about the time the fans cycle through the blame game; blame the goalie, then the coach, then some bottom 6 forward, back to the goalie and then maybe back to the coach.

Rinse and repeated 6 or 7 times a year.

Why do you guys have friends who are Oilers fans?
Were all the good friends taken?

Just wait until the offence clicks. It will fix their defensive issues.

Somehow.

And if they're from Edmonton the poor fashion sense, excessive gambling, fisticuffs with randoms and peeing in your sink would get old quickly.
