Should have known when I got up today, that some how, some way, come hell or high water, the Red Sox, Yankees and Rays were going to find a way to work together and painfully end our season.
It's all clear as day now. This was the plan all along lol

Just devastating. 1 hour ago everything was peachy and now despair. Sports are such a cruel mistress.

Not with a bang, but a whimper.

At least we're not alone. Seattle got close again to only miss out on the post season.

It just sucks because mlb really only cares if the big markets do well
And every goddamn year it’s those same teams

Brutal. Jays are so much better than Boston. Disappointing way to end an impressive season

Heck of a season for the Jays. 20 games over .500 and a lot of building blocks for next year.
It was a lot of fun.

Tough way to end the season. They probably make it if Springer plays even 10 more games.
Lots to be excited about.

It’s a long season and when you miss by a game you can find reasons everywhere.
The last Yankees series was essentially a playoff series, at home, and the Jays lost 2 of 3.

Totally.
It’s so boring.
Literally the two worst possible teams in that wild card spot.

Sure but the Jays have 3 of the other 4 playoff teams in the playoffs, in their division and play more games against all year.

So hot down the stretch, but 4-3 against the Twins, 3-3 against the Tigers, lost both games against the Nats.
You can point to a million things when just one game was the difference.
91 wins
+183 run differential
Cy Young contender
MVP contender
....no playoffs?
WTF?
It hurts dudes.
