I've seen the Quest 3 go on sale for that, but even at the normal $650 price I'd still take it any day over PSVR2. Better lenses, no cords, and a massively increased game library. Plus it supports PCVR, so you're not locked into the Quest ecosystem

I always planned on getting both. I just couldn't justify getting the PSVR2 for $900 when it had no PCVR support. Now it does although you have to pay another $60 for it. Having to deal with wires doesn't really bug me.
I haven't put enough use into my Quest 2 to justify upgrading to the Quest 3 yet but eventually I will too since I won't be able to play games like the new Batman and Alien game without a Quest 3.

Just curious then why you would buy the PSVR2? The only exclusives it has are GT7, Horizon, and RE4, and Sony doesn't seem to have any interest in growing their VR lineup at all

Exclusives and it would be better for PCVR than the Quest 2. Minus having to use wires which like I said doesn't bother me.
It doesn't have a ton of exclusives but it has more than three games. Like The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR. And when I do eventually get a Quest 3 and if it's not being used I can always try and sell it. I'll probably end up putting more use into it than when I got an Xbox One and only ended up buying 2 or 3 games.
There's a Trails in the Sky FC remaster coming out too. I can't find an English video but we're supposed to get a day one release.
Looks really good, I recently just played Daybreak as my entry point in the series and actually finished it, had a great time. I was gonna go back and play the older ones, might as well just wait for the remake!
Interestingly, only announced for Switch at this point too. The Japanese website only lists Switch.
Diablo 4 is getting a massive overhaul for the expansion. It sure feels like they're borrowing liberally from D3 for this patch which I think is a good thing. I assume by this point we've all learned that maybe people didn't actually want the D2 experience in a modern game?

They are bringing back runewords from Diablo 2.
Really looking forward to trying it the PTR next week.
I haven't read that yet but I will say I've played quite a lot of this season. This season felt very good progression wise to me, it's the first time I've made it to level 100 and then found enough good gear to go past that.. I can do tier 100 nightmare dungeons easily and do tier 6 infernal hordes pretty safely (haven't tried tier 7 yet). I keep dying to Lilith but I think it's more because I'm just not good at avoiding her attacks and I end up getting 1 shotted and less because my build isn't good enough. Only thing I haven't done which I'd like to is kill a torment boss.
So yeah I like what they've been doing with the game!

What do you play on, PC/Console? Also which class are you playing this season? I could help you get those kills pretty easily if you want to see what a crazy Druid build can do lol also I didn't feel like there was a huge jump from IH tier 6 to tier 7... But to 8 it was definitely noticeable.
I have also played a ton this season, as Lifelong Diablo fan....I really like the direction Diablo 4 is going.

On PC. I almost always play a sorcerer or a rogue, playing Sorc this season. I had a chain lightning build but switched to trying the top meta Lightning Spear build and it's pretty neat. I think I like the chain lightning build more though, I may switch back.
Yeah the druids I see when doing legion events or farming helltides are pretty crazy, might have to give it a try.
I'll give tier 7 a try, would like to masterwork my stuff more I could probably solo tormented ones with some better gear but sure I'll give you a shout too if I want to get carried!

One week til Astro Bot, this one is going to be special.
Actually this fall is crazy for me (and my particular tastes) after what's been a pretty quiet year. I've got:
Astro Bot
UFO 50
The Plucky Squire
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
Metaphor: Refantazio
Neva
Super Mario Party Jamboree
Mario & Luigi: Brothership
Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake
Please someone give me more time in the day, lol

Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 releases September 9th. This looks like it's going to be a fun game for my buddies and I when we aren't grinding Diablo 4.

This actually does look really good too and I don't even care for shooters / violent games, haha. If it reviews well I could see myself giving it a shot down the road when it's on sale.

Everything I have seen/heard from people who have played the early access beta stuff is that it has potential to be a really fun game. I think during the early access there were some issues with the multiplayer and matchmaking. But the actual gameplay was getting high praise.

I never buy games full price, even my most anticipated games I always wait for some kind of sale. I will be breaking that streak for Astro Bot, my kids and I have played the absolute crap out of the freebie game that came with the PS5 so it's a no brainer to grab this one

The main part is doable if I'm careful and be conservative in my choices, but the council one shots me during some attack that I'm not paying attention to.
I guess it's into the pits to find some Neathiron. I had to do that for the yellow masterworking material too, I couldn't do tier 6 so had to get some from the pits to do some masterworking then I could do tier 6.
EDIT: I used a max health increase potion and masterworked a bit of my gear some more and I was able to just barely complete a tier 7 infernal horde, I think it was because I didn't Geleb, that guy sucks. 500 Neathiron?! Holy..
EDIT2: Tried Lilith again, I can beat her health down pretty fast but I'm terrible at avoiding the patterned attacks so I barely make it to the phase where the floors crumble and I can easily get one shotted, I'm not just good at avoiding things. I did try a tormented boss myself and it was easy lol. Hey I have two sparks and 1 mythic (Doombringer) if I beat Lilith I could craft a mythic of my choice!

Costco has a bundle for the game and controller together if that's your jam.
Second straight year one of the biggest sellers of the year is a free timed console exclusive on PlayStation because of the Series S.

I'm still surprised that "technical issues" are still a thing blocking games coming to a console. At least Capcom is finally getting the technical help needed to bring their upcoming fighting collections a year later. They were going to skip xbox completely which is ridiculous, those games are decades old.
