$10,000 fine.

Bill Simmons has a good article on Michael Vick this morning.

Big game today. Really hoping the Eagles defense blitzes McNabb a lot. McNabb was one of the worst QBs in the league last year against the blitz, and the skins don't have very many good receiving options to bail him out.

I really hope the Eagles fans give him a warm welcome before the game starts. He deserves it.

I think there will be a couple of idiots, like there are at any game, who boo him, but I expect a mostly positive reaction.

I now know why Maroney wasn't playing in New England.

For all of the preseason hype, I have not been particularly impressed with Green Bay's offense.

As I said last week, McDaniels better figure out how to run the ball a bit better if the Bronco's want to score some points this year. Kyle Orton is a good enough QB, but you and I both know that he's not the type of guy who's going to throw 35 TD passes in a season. In the NFL most weeks you need to score 3 TD's if you want to win, and you're not going to get them all through the air. The inability to put the ball into the end zone is going to bite the Bronco's unless they figure out how to punch a few in on the ground.

I have never been more conflicted on a play in my football watching career!

After going up 28-14 early in the second half against Detroit the Packers kind of fell asleep and have let the Lions back in that game.

Yep, the Packers haven't showed me anything yet this year. They beat the Kevin Kolb-led Eagles and a terrible Buffalo team, but I don't think they've been impressive at all.

Looks like Cleveland may lose yet another game in the 4th quarter this season.

And now another Packers turn over here. The Lions better punch one of these into the end zone here because the Packers are giving them some golden oppurtunities to win this game.

Rams pounding a terrible Seahawk team. Bradfrod is looking great, the guy is going to be a star very quick. Man watching Pete Carroll, he is annoying running around like a clown on the sideline, he has a face you just want to slap.

So as of right now, the St. Louis Rams are first in the NFC West.

Well the Panthers and 49'ers sort of show that bad teams know how to lose games they should have won. The Panthers get into FG range against the Saints, than figure out how to run for a loss and take a sack forcing themselves to go for it on 4th and 16, and promptly lose rather than kick the winning field goal. The 49'ers get an INT run it into Atlanta territory with 1:20 left...fumble it and let the Falcons kick the winning field goal.
