I don’t understand their fascination with midweek games. I kind of get it for the cup, because it’s a different feel. But they should have the regular seasons on the weekend in that case.

Anyway…just weird, but hopefully we advance and get a big club here to take down!

It's almost like they're trying to jam a full 28 game season, and cup tournament, and playoffs into 4.5 months instead of the 6.5 they normally have.

So they’re having a tough time getting it in all in, and as a result avoid Friday evenings or Saturdays? That makes no sense.

Sounds like it might be a decent crowd for today. Beautiful weather. Ship and Anchor bus sold out. Rose and Crown bus is packed. Lots of people were asking for tickets in the supporters section. You love to see it!

Shaky first half for Cavalry. Far too methodical in the build up at times. The Edmonton goal was just a breakdown at the back with a nice finish. Cavalry looked a lot better after the Di Chiara goal, and were unlucky to get another before the end of the half.

Shushing the supporters of a club you've never beat when you go up 1-0 in the 7th minute is a bold move. Let's see if it pays off for them.

Edmonton's game plan is clearly to play 10 behind the ball and try to spring a quick counter attack. It has worked at times but Cavalry are calmly applying more and more pressure, looking firmly in control by the end of the half.

Should add that the stadium and supporters look and sound great on the broadcast!

One of the most exciting games of the year. Can't complain there wasn't enough action.

Cavalry dominated everything but the scoreboard in that second half. Edmonton parked 10 men behind the ball all game. Tough penalty that was completely against the run of play.

Joe Mason is quickly becoming one of my favourites, especially now that I don't have to hear about an Edmonton win. As is typical with Edmonton supporters they are unbearable after a win.

Attendance of 3489 is good to see. That's a typical crowd for a Sunday in 2019 as well.

One of the more exciting draws I’ve seen. How tall is Luca, I believe the Internet says 5’6…but there is no way that is accurate.

Unrelated question, do any other parking pass holders have issues trying to get into LOT 7? It’s so much quicker of an exit than LOT 8. However, it always feels like a fight with the parking attendant every time I request to park there. The pass says I’m permitted to park in both 7 and 8 yet they are reluctant to allow me to park there.

I find the parking in lot 8 pretty good to get out, actually. They have things rolling pretty smoothly.

Somewhat disappointing draw today. I felt like we should have scored 3-4 more and just got a little unlucky or unable to convert. The penalty was too far away to see what happened, but I assume that was a handball or something like that?

I feel like the overall play was good and there’s no doubt that Cavalry was dominant. I do wonder what the official is seeing at times. Like a call that went against Hernandez in the later stages was pretty egregious. I also thought there was a pretty clear foul against Yao off a corner and another against Farsi on the edge of the box. I don’t watch a lot of the other games, so is it just par for the course that the officials aren’t making these calls?

Seems like the league will come down to Pacific, Forge and Calvary.

I really hope we see an expansion team for next year.

I think those highlights show how lucky Edmonton was to escape with the draw.

The Atmosphere was amazing there today as well. The crowd was really into it and I know when that Joe Mason goal went it, it super crazy there!

I’ve got no voice left after that one. Should have got all three points, but was a very entertaining game. That was one of the best crowds we’ve had.

Each game Mason plays his football intelligence shows through more and more. He's got that natural poacher mentality and the ball just finds him. Such a brilliant addition to the squad

I love the smoke! The overall atmosphere is just so good. Would've been nice to bury another couple just for that!

Novak! A little against the run of play. James should’ve saved it for FCE. Looked really weak
