Do you know what the odds are for the Flames to win the Cup regardless? It took the Blues 50+ years. The Leafs have not won jack since before HNIC was in colour. You play to win the game. If they make the playoffs and crap the bed I am ok because at least they made the effort. I mean sure we can suck ass for a decade like the Oilers, collect a bunch if 1st overall picks and... still do F all.

Some of you are too far down on the team to be seeing this rationally. That was a clear demonstration of their pride and frustration of losing like this to their rivals. Talbot kinda pulled a Noodles there and said "that's enough". That reaction should be an encouraging sign of their character.
Besides, the hate is back. The competition is back. The BOA is back.

I hope Lucic is getting an earful in the dressing room. When guys like Monahan and Talbot are fighting and he hasn’t even so much as given a dirty look to anyone, that’s shameful. I actually haven’t minded Lucic’s game this season but he was brought in to provide toughness and to go completely MIA in the middle of the team’s biggest rivalry is shameful.
