I'm thinking Pep saw a bald spot on Redmond and was just letting him know about the hair club for men.

He says he was commending Redmond on a great match but got carried away because he was amped from the winner. Should force him to coach West Ham on Sunday as punishment.

I think Redmond could do a decent job.

Lacazette is out for Saturday's game against United, which simply means Wenger can't inexplicably drop him or play him only 65 minutes. I would imagine that means Alexis up top.

Ya Mignolet was lucky for sure. Those calls are always tough for a ref though. Hart took down a player that was clean in today also and didn't get a red.

He was the one city fans wanted on the bench this year too, thinking the 3 behind the striker would be a rotation of sane, Silva, Silva, kdb, Jesus/kun etc.
He's been so good, back to what people thought he might be after Liverpool

Apparently it looks much worse than it is and it was actually a passionate and respectful conversation where he was actually being complimentary according to both him and Redmond.
But then, there's another version of the story according to The Sun and their lip readers where they claim he called Redmond a w***er.
I'm torn as to who to believe.
But I'm looking forward to The Sun adding The Etihad to their list of banned from stadiums.

Just imagine if Rooney didn't retire, Southgate would be penciling him in up top after yesterday.

The Liverpool attack is absolutely rolling right now, even with all the rotation with the busy schedule. If they could figure out how to be just a decent defending team then they could really start challenging for some trophies.

In a word, Alderweireld. I think he is such a big loss for them and along with Wanyama they just don't have that defensive fortitude. Once Sanchez took his red today (which was not only deserved, but ridiculous!) you just knew they had to hang on for the remainder.

It all started with the whole "power shift" narrative. Perhaps they simply let it get to their heads a bit and haven't been right since.
Also so much for Lacazette not playing, he's starting. Wenger playing mind games with Jose? Interesting

just had a look and indeed, they started dropping points right when he went down. Crazy how quickly things change in football, they looked incredible only a month ago or so and now they've managed to earn 2 points out of the last 4 games.

Lol, no it didn't. The power shift narrative had nothing to do with the last few games. Spurs lost Toby during the game with Madrid, and coincidentally that's when their troubles began. It might make a more compelling media narrative to say that their rivals are somehow involved, just it's just not the case.

Spurs reading their press clippings and getting big heads in the lead up to the NLD, only to get destroyed by Arsenal, and they haven't been the same since. Losing Alderweireld hurts no doubt, but they've been very poor in the final third the past few games and that has nothing to do with him. Dele Alli in particular has basically disappeared.
