SD goes up 4-3 on a shorthanded goal... Just a bad PP. 3:59 left in the game

Highlights from yesterday's game.
I wish more teams would be like Stockton and put their highlights up the night of, but at least San Diego gets them up eventually. Some teams are even worse.

Defensively the team is a train wreck right now. They're giving up nearly 40 shots every night it seems.

Youth and lack of a good AHL Dman will do that.

Another tough game for the heat losing 5-2 against the oilers farm team. Klimchuck and Devane with the goals. Hopefully the Heat can get back on track.

This is shapin up to be an awesome weekend. All we need is an Oilers blowout and some Canuck wins.

He did play last night. 1 shot -1. Scratches were McCollum, Shinkaruk, Bollig, Pribyl, and Bailey.

Was shinkaruk a healthy scratch?
Boy quite a drop off from his decent play with Johnny and Mony last year.

Stockton loses 2-0 to SJ.
Just another dismal effort, the score flatters the Heat who would have been blownout if not for Gillies.

They're broken. A shell of what they were the first couple dozen games.

This is disappointing after the great starts forwards like Jankowski and Klimchuk had.
For those watching, I am curious about Poirier. Is he playing himself out of a job?

I haven't seen him ever but a former co worker who goes to a few games a month said he liked Poirer's game but felt he's being used improperly.
Subjective view I suppose but he claims he has the best speed and shot on the team but playing mostly with Carroll, Lomberg and Smith isn't a recipe for great numbers.
