Hard to call that much of a success.
If he doesn't win the Champions League this year his Bayern tenure should be looked at as a failure. He took the best club in the world (when he took over) and really didn't do anything amazing (especially with Dortmund self destructing in the league)

Mueller is the best player in the world not named Messi or Ronaldo

Oh yes!!! Feels good after letting the first leg get away from them in Italy. Now just need to hold. With Boateng was out there

Coman puts it to bed

Juventus is a really good team. They should be once again counted among Europe's elite

Pretty big choke job by Juve - that save by Neuer at the end of the first half ended up saving them the game.

Juve sat back too much though and wasn't even committing on the counter.

When they played positively in the 2nd half of the 1st leg and the first half today they looked great. But too much finishing power on Bayern to sit back and let them take the game to you.

Too conservative approach in the first half of the 1st leg and then tried to sit back on a lead today and it cost them.

Exactly it, they sat back in the first half of the first leg and got tuned then played positively and got themselves back in it.

Then attacked initially and took the lead and then sat back and got tuned again.

Bayern are playing with 0, count 'em ZERO Centre-Backs. Why on earth would you not attack them?

And to Bayern's credit, over 2 legs they pumped 6 past the Old Lady.

Thats no small feat. They've only allowed 15 goals against all season in Serie A.

Yeah after going up 2-0 Juve needed that 3rd away goal to kill off the tie but defended instead.

Premier League's Fourth Champions League Spot Safe For 2017/18

16 March 2016
Sky Sports
Gerard Brand

The Premier League now cannot lose their fourth Champions League spot for the 2017/18 season following Juventus' exit from Europe.

Juventus' elimination after the 6-4 aggregate defeat by Bayern Munich on Wednesday night means Italy have one club left in Europe in the form of Lazio, while England have Manchester City plus at least one other in the Europa League.
