Samsonov is under contract in the KHL for three more years. With no transfer agreement expected, he might be there awhile.

goalies in the first round are like d men in the top 5 to me
ya there are situations where its worked out (Price, Luongo) (Ekblad, Hedman etc.)
but theres so many other times where it hasn't that it seems safer to go with a skater in the 1st round, and especially a forward in the top 5
