As much as I dislike the Canucks, I wouldn't mind this. Especially if it was for Vancouver's 2nd back hahaha. To me, Lack really only let in one bad goal before getting the yank in the playoff series. He was pretty darn good.

Also... I'd love to see more of Lack's dad. Sitting with Johnny's dad. My head would explode.

Some contract uncertainty is fuelling LA's interest in considering Jones trade. In addition, he feels ready to be a number one. #TSN

What's so special about Lack? I'd rather we didn't trade for him.

I'd be happier with giving Dubnyk 3yrs @ 6.0m, versus trading the 52nd overall pick for Eddie Lack.

Pierre LeBrun @Real_ESPNLeBrun
Jeff Skinner's name out there quite a bit. Four more years at $5.725 M cap hit ($6 M salary). Carolina definitely open to moving him...

Contrary to reports, source close to Panthers said they have no interest in Hawks LW Patrick Sharp & his $5.9 million cap hit. #flapanthers

I think Jones is interesting for the Flames if they feel Gillies needs more time and they decide Ortio is not their guy for some reason.

But I don't think they'll trade any goalies until after camp. Too many unknowns at this point.

Id rather give Hiller another year or 2 at his current salary than give Dubnyk what he's looking for (5x5, which someone might throw him at UFA). Despite his great 1/2 season, I would say they are about the same as far as "game saving" ability and we know Hiller, has a good rapport with the team and is a better age range to allow Ortio and Gillies develop into a tandem going forward.

Honestly, I really don't see the use in moving assets for goaltenders who aren't much better, if at all, than what we already have. I think what this situation is showing is that most teams have a backup with good potential and there are new guys like this that hit the market every year. If we need a stop gap if Ortio isn't ready, we can deal with it at the time IMO.

If Calgary is really kicking tires on goaltending I have to assume that they have either been told Ramo isn't coming back at any price, or that his price tag is too large for them to consider him.

Just don't see Lehner or Lack as better than Ramo, or certainly not to the extent needed to consider moving assets for the upgrade.

I think more likely is he's not getting better and wasn't that great. A few stretches here and there, but the numbers don't lie. Why Ramo when there's lots of better options out there? I think Ramo signs as a back up for much less than he thinks he'll get now

23 years old Lehner Vs. 29 year old Ramo. Stats are comparable.

Lack? I'm meh on him but it's hard to argue his results last season.

I think Ortio will end up being the guy, so I'd rather have a backup that didn't cost the team assets.

Hiller with one year left does leave the team with a hole next summer, so filling it now makes some sense.

Sign Ramo and deal Hiller would be logical as I see Ramo as the better goaltender, but no way I give him big dollars and term.

They do need to bring in goaltending though as the other guys in the system are too young to expect much in the next couple of seasons.

I just hope there are some actual trades this year.

Feels like the last couple years there is a bunch of noise leading up to the draft, then nothing happens.

Asking price for Tyler Bozak appears to be a second round pick.

Elliotte Friedman @FriedgeHNIC
One non-expansion note: NHL was hoping for a new transfer agreement with KHL. May not happen now. Both leagues will continue to respect...

each other's contracts, but will prevent NHL clubs from "purchasing" a KHL player's deal and bringing him to North America.

I have a really, really, really hard time believing that Treliving is considering trading for the guy his own team recently chased out of the net in the first round of the playoffs.

If we weren't loaded at center I'd definitely take a flyer on Bozak for a 2nd.

Bozak rocks RW too does he not? Cold be a great RW option for Bennett to cover some zone faceoff scenarios. 2nd pick would be a decent price.

53.2% on faceoffs on 944 attempts.

Ramo is a finished product, Lehner isn't. It wouldn't surprise me if the Flames are the ones not interested in Ramo moving forward.

Lack isn't coming here. McKenzie was basically saying they would trade him to a rival if the return was right.

If no new transfer agreement is reached, the 'Russian Factor' could become more important in the upcoming draft.
