Very Vancouverish if you ask me.

A) It's called a mistake, it happens every once in a while. I was corrected, and thanked the dude for pointing it out. Pretty simple to understand. Bro.
B) Why would my tenure have any correlation to my desire to care about understanding how the cap works? I have a general knowledge I use to engage in specific conversations but it hardly is a requirement of me to understand the ins and outs to every detail to be allowed to engage in the conversation.
C) VERY few people care to ever engage in that conversation. Most people enjoy the game, talk about roster moves and will engage in cap talk when it's relevant to the team (can we afford this guy?) Then, when something is pointed out like "it's AAV, not this years hit" I say thanks and we move on.
Slow your role, bro.

I reckon the majority of those 30 fans could tell me what a cap hit is, simply from overhearing discussions or growing up in Canada where there is basically only 1 sport. My original comment saying how it amazes me how many fans don't understand it was targeted at this board. If you register for CP, wait for it to go through and take part in discussions, you are in the top % of fans IMO and it is shocking to see some of the lack of knowledge people have here. It is often the same people who enter into heated discussions on contentious topics and you sit there wondering, wtf, how can they possibly believe that?
There are some truly clueless bandwagoners in Vancouver though who claim to be huge fans. Nothing more cringe worthy than entering into a hockey discussion with someone you have just met to have their eyes glaze over at the first mention of a player, coach, recent result or prospect.
Anyway, off topic, proceed.

Kidding aside, I've never read a more 'Canucks fan' post in my life.

5 picks in the top 80 for this management staff if pretty exciting! It could be another awesome draft for Flames fans to follow.

I wonder if tomorrow will be just as busy as today. I could see at least one blockbuster type trade goes down tomorrow.

So Chris Stewart, Petry, and Michalek are the biggest names left.
Wonder if TSN and Sportsnet promise to call the trade BOLD, MacT will save the Petry trade for tomorrow.

I honestly am having a hard time thinking of anyone that's going to make a splash. Mike Green?

Montreal still looking to make a move. I wonder if they want to upgrade Tokarski with Ramo? Ramo for Tokarski and other assets? Not saying I would want that, but would make sense. Tokarski is awful and Montreal knows what happens if Price goes down.

Running low on rentals butni get the feeling there will be some deals no one saw coming. The NBA trade deadline was a shocker this year and I could see the NHL deadline having a few deals none of the insiders saw coming

i wouldnt be surprised if bigger names than those get dealt...just not being floated at this point.
There are a few teams that havent gotten in on the action yet...and likely will be to some degree anyhow.

Have to think the Bruins get involved soon. They've been awfully quiet so far.
