Tough for the ref to make that call, assistant should have helped her. With the pace Morgan was running it's hard to tell. She hasn't been terribly biased, she gave them a damn penalty and they missed. Probably could have been two more cards for fouls on Rapinoe in the 1st half.

The non red card is a huge call. That play is either not a foul or a penalty + red card. There is no in between.

What? The in-between is if ref thinks she wasn't last man back, then it's yellow. Not saying she called it right, but there's no rule that says a foul in the box is an auto red.

Congrats to the U.S.! 2-0 now. More deserving team won the game. They outplayed Germany for most of the match and got the better chances. Morgan alone had 3-4 great chances.
