I don't mind the price. I just wish Shaw's version wasn't such a piece of crap. But then again everything about Shaw is completely minimalist and mediocre.

Ya I'm just glad my Saints were on national TV that first week this year, because the past 2 straight years my Shaw Sunday Ticket didn't even work the first week (in '09 it didn't work until week 4!)
Anyone know how Bell is supposed to be? I just have a new smartphone from Bell, and the idea of being able to PVR from my phone makes me go from 6 to midnight.

Bell works for me as a Pats fan because I automatically get the HD broadcast as one of the stations (FOX I think) is from Boston.

Fox Boston will only get the Pats games if it is an NFC opponent.
Fox gets NFC, CBS gets AFC, and when it is NFC vs AFC it is the visiting team's network that gets the broadcast (because of potential blackouts - the visitor's home market can never be blacked out so that network produces the broadcast).
At least that is the way the rules used to work, unless any of the recent labour agreements changed anything.

Until about 3 years ago you were able to just buy single games, that's what I used to do with the Saints from like 02-05. Was $3.99/game, it was great. You could tell NFL popularity exploded after that because by 06 it was up to $10.99/game, so I just bought Sunday Ticket instead.

It's still a steal here in Canada at $160 for the season. My brother didn't get it this year in the US because if is $390 according to him.

Wow, I didn't realize it was that high. I know it was always way cheaper in Canada, but I thought that had changed this year. My cousin in Phoenix said he just got his free with DirectTV. Maybe that was just a promo though.

All I know is that I see every Pats game in HD. Works for me.

Yeah it's $350 in the US but DirecTV was throwing it in free if you switched to them. Next year he will have to pay $350. In two years the package won't be on DirecTV exclusively as opening that up to other providers is part of the new CBA. PS3 owners can get it for $360.

Can they get it for $360 now? I might have to go buy a PS3, I drop at least $40 every sunday at the bar.

Cotton McKnight: I'm being told that Average Joe's does not have enough players Bob Sanders is going on the IR and will be forfeiting the championship match comeback player of the year.
Pepper Brooks: It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for 'em.

I have no problems with NFL Sunday Ticket through Bell. Have had them for 6 or 7 years and all the games are in HD now. Once in a while an HD feed might not be available for a few minutes (I think I had to watch the Chiefs and Niners in SD for about 5 minutes last year). All in all the experience has been good.

Didn't think much of it, until I had a buddy over who brought it up on his laptop, it is awesome. Saved me from any channel surfing and it is now an absolute must on Sundays.

You are absolutely right but Henne can't seem to pass in the red zone. They settle for far too many fields goals. But the main problem has been the defense, they can't stop anybody right now.

Depends what you are watching for. If you're main priority is to follow fantasy football then it is a must have.
If you want to watch a specific game or 2 every week, then it is hard to watch as it goes to a from every game one big play at a time. The whole channel is basically big play/hilight updates that you see during the games

I watched during the free preview in week 1 last season (Chiefs didn't play till Monday night). I thought it was awesome. You know exactly what is going on in every single game, commercial free. I would love to get it, however, I'm cursed with my loyalty to the Chiefs. So I won't give up watching a Chiefs game in its entirety to watch Redzone.

Kansas City Star article on the "Looking for Luck Division" (or Suck for Luck to the layman). Talks about the likley front runners for Stanford QB, Andrew Luck, and some upcoming Luck Bowls between a few of the teams in the Luck Division.

Looking forward to the Raiders at Home vs the Patriots and Brady. DMC vs a average run defence and Richard Seymour vs his old team he is still bitter towards Belichik. I will be suprised if Brady vs a mostly rookie secondary isn't the difference though.
