I have long thought that Draisatl is insanely overrated. I still think that, but I can acknowledge that he is a really good player.
I'm not entirely convinced that if you take McDavid away that he is even in the same stratosphere of where people put him now.

He’s good. He showed me playing on a numbed knee in the playoffs, but that showed me more how Mcdavid can open space for others.

Fair, I could see Makar or Matthews being 3rd but both of them play on stacked teams, if you put them on lesser teams I’m not sure that they put up those same numbers.

Makar's play is about so, so much more than mere numbers. But it is otherwise an interesting point, since Drai-heaves undoubtedly does not put up anything close to the numbers he has if he were extracted from McHobo's hip-pocket.
Edmonton is no good.

My list would be similar. There is a ton of talent in the NHL. Still have Johnny, Kucherov, Point, Kaprizov types as well. Older guard with Ovi, Syd etc.
Good times for hockey.
