Top 6 heavy team oilers had more depth last year
They will have to move picks to get some help on depth
Don't see this team going far with that defense goaltending

Norm!
They had a really nice coaches bump with the new guy, now they're back to being the same old poor defensive team with below average goaltending and heading into a tougher part of their schedule.

On Saturday when they switched to the last 5 minutes of the Oilers game with the score 5-1, I thought Singh was doing the play by play of a funeral.

A funeral has better goaltending.

Oilers have not had a back to back this season. First couple they have, are in areas where no travel is required (NJ-NYR and ANA-LA). The season was setup on a tee this season and squandered things. They will be at 48 games played after the LA back to back in February.
Just no good, and even more no good is that a team couldn't take advantage of that. Their worst travel day for a back to back is between game 81 and game 82 (ARI to COL).

I take great joy in knowing the Canucks were the catalyst for this tail spin.

He totally does. Maybe a mix of both, but by the end of his time with the Oilers he's gonna look more like:

Poser. The Oilers have never escaped the tailspin. The epic E=NG thread-collection here at CP is more a catalyst than that crappy team in Vancouver.

You don't have much to cheer for this year so I'll just let you have this.
