Further investigation revealed that the source of the odour was the collective body odour from the passengers on board. Additionally, many of the passengers elected to defecate in their seats versus using the in-flight washroom facilities.

"I've never seen anything like it." said one flight attendant on board

"It was a sea of blue and orange jerseys with something about an Oiler on the front, and they kept screaming at us how their team was better than ours. I'm a volleyball fan. And all the sweatpants, many of them soiled after the flight. Just horrific." said another flight attendant on board.

"Surprisingly nice shoes though" she added.

He's a former figure skater, are we sure this was embellishment and not just trying to stick the landing?

Went for a haircut the other day and a kid about 7 years old walks out of the back with an epic mullet. super short in the front, 8 inches down his back, i immediately say to myself, that poor kid must be from Edmonton, then i chuckle to myself. Not 1 minute later, kid fires on the Oilers toque. It was awesome to see. poor kid.

Was he actually penalized for diving In those games? I don't seem to recall any games where any Oiler was called for embellishment.

I know it’s not likely to happen because I doubt the league takes it serious enough to make a big deal of it… but I really wish they would negotiate into the next CBA to make it a much more serious consequence for diving - especially after league review. If you look at what’s happened to basketball and soccer… I’ve never been a big fan of those sports but when I try to give them a chance now it’s almost unwatchable. And I’ve been told by fans of those sports that it’s just “part of the game”.

I refuse to accept that nothing could be done to prevent that and I hate to see it getting worse and worse in the NHL. I distinctly remember it first becoming rampant in the NHL from the Canucks 2010-2011 season. The level of diving on that team had never been seen before at that point. Now you see multiple teams like that and pretty much every team has guys selling calls pretty frequently.

Would like to see suspensions and major fines handed out… especially for repeat offenders. Would also like to see it become a major penalty in game rather than just a minor. Right now, there is very little motivation to not embellish a call because the worst that happens is a four-on-four instead of a powerplay. Making embellishment a major penalty would result in a 3 minute penalty for the offending team where the other team could potentially score multiple goals. I know major penalties are usually saved for particularly dangerous offences but, in this case, I would consider it an offence to the integrity of the game.

With two in such a small amount of time, no ref is going to take him seriously at all until McCrybaby yells at the refs
