With Jiggy's and TAO's posts I thought it was a grand slam. Sheesh.

I need to stop reading ahead.

I was just saying every time Osuna throws a breaking ball in those situations, it doesn't seem to end well ( often in the upper deck). Needs to stick to his slider and fastball which are his money pitches.

Yeah, Cecil is warming up just for Seth Smith there and he doesn't even use him. Basically it's like he got him up because all the data says you have to, but just went with his gut once the moment came. You gotta trust the numbers.

I love crapping on Gibbons, but I don't want Cecil anywhere near a close game.

Pillar with the leadoff single. Let's get some insurance.

I more meant "Bam" and "Oh my god". I figured it was game over.

I don't get these MLB replays. Do I think he was out? Probably. Do I think there was enough evidence to overturn the original call on the field? Nope. I can call hockey replays almost every time. Baseball is just a crap shoot.

Not only that, but the replay was ridiculously short. That's not a no brainer play by any means. If Pillar was out then the tag had to get just a bit of his jersey before his hand was in. How do you have a 20 second review in that case?

Shouldn't take long. "Which side of it are the Blue Jays on? Their runner was called safe? Then he's out."

When the play is close, the call will go against us each and every time.

It's so weird. Sometimes it seems like the call on the field means everything and other times is seems like it's meaningless. Absolutely zero consistency on what is applied. The fact there is no consistency is the reason why I wouldn't mind eliminating it from the game again.
