I assume the Rock won’t be at wrestlemania as he didn’t make any moves against Reigns or Rhodes. Too bad as his Final Boss character was one of the best in recent memory. Hopefully they can figure out a future storyline if he is indeed unavailable.

Yeah talking positively about Cody in the opening (and then having a drink with him on instagram) and then not doing anything against Roman makes it seem like there is nothing in the immediate future.
The Cody door feels more closed though, where it seems like it was more of a "not now" moment for the Rock vs Roman match up.
So it seems like there are no commercials if you watch the replay. I'm just catching up, and there have been no commercials in the first hour.
Are you talking about WWE related commercials or commercials you would see on TV for products?
During matches unless you were in the US they would just fade to black and then immediately fade back into the match and between matches they would either be doing interviews, do a hype video for the match, or do a WWE Shop .etc commercial.
Still think Punk still looks old and slow, but man Seth can carry anyone to a good match.
In my Opinion, Punk's work rate is not what has ever made him the "The Best in the World" it is his ability to make a story line you care about, and then selling in the match like his life depends on it. Heel or Face he sells the way that he needs to to get the emotion from the crowd.
It's kind of the oposit to a guy like Rick O'shea, who can do all the moves, bump like a mother ####er, but at the end of the day his bumps mean nothing because he sells like a ken doll and works the mic like a stripper announcer.

Is it completely out of line to say that Toni Storm is the most interesting character in AEW at the moment? I'm loving this weird amnesia angle she's running with.

I've always like Toni Storm, She was exceptional in the Mae Young Classics, and in NXT and was wasted on the main roster. She's a really good in ring worker (though her facial expressions always make me think she's going to burst into tears). She's actually better on the mic and in character then I thought she was.
I didn't like the idea of the amnesia angle at first, it felt too much like the whole Mick Foley lost in Pittsburgh WCW angle and I was worried that they would take it to far and like Mick Toni would end up as a homeless pirate. (If you don't remember that WCW angle, google it, its hilariously bad, and a waste of what could have actually been a good angle). But Toni has made herself a standout character who can work at an elite level.

The Khan's are just the best, they provide so much entertainment. Just not on Sunday's or Wednesday's.... or Saturday morning's if your a Fulham fan. The Khan's are the disqualifer to the old adage of "even a blind squirrel finds a nut"... they are just terrible at everything!
Well they made Penta look like a star and even gave him mic time
The reaction was tremendous. Penta's entrance was also fantastic, and he was even decent on the mic. They should allow him to do his promos in Spanish, especially with that growing Mexican audience they're always trying to reach. It's better that he came in as a singles star, as tag team wrestlers rarely go above the midcard. If Penta can stay healthy he could be a main event heel. His look alone sets him apart from the rest of the roster. A really strong debut, I just hope he doesn't disappear into the background a month from now.
