Someone else posted that it was in other theatres earlier but I must have missed it. Honestly runs are so short nowadays it can be a matter of just a few weeks before movies get pulled.

haha...good to hear you have similar interests. It was just a joke. Didn't mean anything by it.

Bamboozled is hilarious in that Spike Lee subtly hints at the actual problem, but cant come and outright say it. The movie is terrible rhough and looks like it was filmed with a webcam.

Bump I watched this the other day and really enjoyed it
Surprised it didn’t get more attention

It's a bit of an overrated movie from an award-winning standpoint but I thought this cut fleshed out a lot of the story based on what I remember from the theatrical version.

Originally, I thought this movie was trite, sappy and cheesy when I was younger. Now, it's kind of a selling feature. Weird.

Regardless, it's a beautifully shot movie visually.
great, i have plans tomorrow while my wife works!

It looks like Tubi has all of the Troma films available. Class of Nuke’em High was like a fever dream. So stupid, but awesome.

That’s cool. Troma has its own streaming service and they’re adding the Toxic Avenger films in 4K. I might check it out for a month to see them but it’s good to know there’s a free option too.

In 4k???? They look filmed on a cheap camcorder, I am curious what they would look like with better resolution. Watching the movies, I have to wonder how much they served to inspire movies like Robocop. There are some uncanny similarities in how goofy and over-the-top some of the characters act.

All That Jazz has been my watch list for a while will for sure have to watch sooner than later. If you are on a 70s you need to watch Sorcerer (1977). Probably the most under seen masterpiece.

I got confused by the post you quoted, because Finch is definitely not Tom Hanks latest. Discovered it was an old post from 2021 and I already responded to that one. My opinion has not changed.

I found it to be quite average. For someone ina survival situation he does a lot of obviously bone headed stuff and there never seems to be much stakes, and a few plot threads are introduced that ultimately don’t matter or aren’t explained.

I just watched The Hating game on Netflix with my wife. I didn't hate the movie it was okay but I really found the main guy to be incredibly creepy and I just got worse as the movie went on. He was an unlikeable, erratic, sociopath stalker

Someone on here suggested Popstar never stop never stopping and I have to say I agree it's hilarious, I laughed so hard watching it. A great spoof of the musical biopic on par with Dewey Cox Walk Hard.

Can’t believe a documentary called, “They Called Him Mostly Harmless” was not about Douglas Adams.
