For sure, but it works dependent on a decent to good bullpen. On this team you're often saving the starter possibly giving up 2 - 3 runs by pulling him, to almost guaranteeing 2 - 3 runs being given up by our bullpen in short order.

They're giving Scherzer game 4?!?! Yikes, that's super scary. He hasnt pitched in awhile and looked washed the last time he did. We're really gonna risk getting run up right away tomorrow and having to pivot on pitching and coke back from behind?
That seems literally insane to me, and I really don't want to have the bump this post tomorrow.
