I don't know, most of these cultists are deeply embedded at this point. The betrayal would have to be so direct and profound, and I just don't see it happening. Basically it'd have to be Trump turning on white people, which given his very racist nature, is highly unlikely. So even if they are all conscripted to abject poverty I still don't see them turning on him, as long as he also conscripts "the others" to a worse fate. Let us continue to hope the fat #### just has the heart attack/stroke he's earned.

A MAGA person is a deeply angry person. And they're obviously confused and irrational about why they're hurting. Before, the hurt the Neo-Cons were laying down was pretty "hidden" boring legalese slowly taking away their purchasing power and autonomy. But now it's all out in the open with chainsaws and trade wars with allies that are causing real problems on the ground for these people. And it will get much, MUCH worse. American business will start to close en masse. Some of them will start to see why and their anger will turn on the republicans.
Cult members are certainly warped and difficult to break, but if/when they ever do realize they've been had, they're generally not very nice about it. Especially if they are armed.

I will be very happy to learn that Trump is dead, but I’d much prefer it if he were a martyr to cholesterol.
His crazies will just invent a murder conspiracy and add him to the Clinton Body Count. The best outcome is that he serves out his term but is gradually marginalized and made completely impotent. By the end of his term, the bulk of the people who voted for him need to feel embarrassed for what they did. We're on a pretty good track for that right now.
