I was a big fan of Toni in NXT, mainly because her work rate was elite. But she never had a real personality, there. She was just kind of bland, which is funny for her rocker gimmick. She got over for what she did in the ring.


When she created the Timeless Gimmick, it was brilliant, it was fun, and she did it so convincingly.



I'm hoping they're not switching her back to bland old Toni Storm, it would literally make no sense to just make her a worker in a division of workers.



Whoever is booking the woman in AEW and if its tony, has failed completely. Its a bland devision. They even made Mone less then.

It's funny because one of the things in early AEW was "no 50/50 booking" and " wins and losses mean something" and I think that was a strength for them early on.

But now they do a really good job of making everyone feel the same, wins and losses don't seem to matter, and even the titles don't seem to have any real importance on a week to week basis (magnified by the fact when people lose the title they never seem to care they lost the title and just move to a random fued like nothing happened).

IMO nobody on the roster seems like they are clearly better than anyone else on the roster.

I don't understand this tournament. I know Tony and New Japan love tournaments, and it's a neat idea in a sense. Yet they're fighting for one of the belts, possibly the lowest valued title in the company? I mean it hasn't done anything for Okada, and was lost in the shuffle the last year. MJF and Ospreay did an effective job in getting the International Title over. The TNT Championship is also lost in the shuffle, but it should count as the second most important belt to hold.

Then there's the Continental Championship which has rarely been defended, and only held by Kingston and Okada in its brief infancy. Now they're devoting months of content to decide who faces off for the lesser belt of the company. Then you have current champions and wrestlers involved in other feuds involved in the tournament. It all feels like an overbooked mess. Maybe they should have contenders from other companies in this tournament to give it a true "Continental" feel? Or use this kind of tournament scheme for a shot against the World Title? Otherwise it feels like they're fighting for a title that's the equivalent of the Television Title back in WCW. It's like they're playing Mortal Kombat, and winning without fighting Goro, Shang Tsung, and Shao Khan.

SNME was fun. Heard a lot of people complain about the amount of commercials (it’s the IWC, of course they’ll complain) but I thought it was a fun show. Wish they had a couple of fun vignettes, slightly predictable outcomes but loved the retro feel to it and having Ventura on was cool to see. Green winning was a nice moment.

No surprise there. Should have just stuck with Dark. Plus in Canada I think you had to get TSN+ to watch it unless the show happened to take place in Canada. Anytime it was on and I tried to watch it I ended up fast forwarding most of it anyway.
