Yeah, that was a pretty high intensity level of disappointment from a broadcast crew.

I also liked how the colour guy kept downplaying the quality of the Dogers hits in the 11th. They only scored 5 runs - a 2 RBI bloop single is clutch hitting.

Anyway, all 3 AL west teams losing has the Jays back in the playoffs, and only 0.5 back of Texas.

Great play by Bo throwing home to get Devers. Now lets get some runs!

I wonder if the odds for the Jays are quite a bit lower because they don't hold any tie-breakers.

Jays should start taking pitches. Especially in the first inning. 5 pitch innings don’t give your pitchers a chance to rest.

A safety squeeze would be fun here.

Yeah please settle down Ryu. Letting a single and double for every inning is eventually going to bite you.

This Jays lineup is just weak. Next to no power left in it. Brandon Belt going AWOL in September has not helped. They badly need to add a good hitter to be at the top. At this point Springer is slightly above average as a hitter. So when Bo and Vladdy have off years in the power department it's really weak.

Whats happening in Cleveland is hilarious. The Guardians have scored 9 runs so far in the 4th. The Rangers are so so bad right now. And yet they swept the Jays lol.

Fun fact. The Jays scored as many runs in 4 games as the Guardians scored in the bottom of the 4th inning

Just catching up with the thread...

I don't think there's any question that it's on the players. However, I don't think it was the same (as bad) under Montoya.

More importantly though, while it's on the players, it is up to the organization to set the standard. This #### would NEVER happen in Tampa or St Louis - they simply wouldn't allow it.

Vladdy has been coasting all year, for whatever reason, and it's up to Schneider to bench him (and anyone else) until he/they accept the standards that should be expected.
