The problem with 16,000 fans, is you can hear morons in the crowd way too clearly.

Some idiot hasn't shut up the whole first inning and its incredibly annoying.

Could the difference be a different hitting philosophy from the GM? Ricciardi always seemed to be a play-the-percentages and work the count kind of guy and fairly heavy handed. Maybe under AA, Cito and the crew have got them back to being 'see ball, hit ball' type batters, and Lind/Hill hadn't quite adapted to it yet?

No hitter broken up with two outs in the 6th on a really close call at first.

Jays playing pretty well tonight.

A shaky BP closes it out. I thought for sure we were going to extras with a man on 3rd and one out.

Big Win. Even though garza lost he was good. Niemann is going to be tough.

Pitching match up tomorrow night does not favour the Jays at all, but this is a big win for the team going forward.

Getting anything for Eveland is great.

The Pirates are the most pathetic franchise in sports.

Now to find out who is going to be able to hold down the #5 spot in the rotation.

The Jays talked yesterday about keeping a 5 man rotation even with all the breaks this month. It makes a lot of sense when you consider how young this staff is

My bet is, Litsch will be recalled//activated just before the next scheduled start for the 5th starter. Tallet will be put back in the bullpen and Purcey will be sent to AAA.

I believe Litsch can be activated on June 4th from the 60 day DL.

Tallet never is pretty but hopefully he can give the Jays 5 innings tonight. I can't stand him on the mound

gotta love the Jays. It's either a pop-up or a homer!
