Team "Watching through the Static" chooses, in the Medical category (which is safe because Barnes already has filled it) St. Elsewhere.
Quote:
The series was set at St. Eligius, a decaying urban teaching hospital in Boston's South End neighborhood (said at the time to be based on Boston City Hospital, now Boston Medical Center). The hospital's nickname, "St. Elsewhere," is medical industry slang for poor hospitals that serve patients not wanted by the more prestigious institutions. As a medical drama, St. Elsewhere dealt with serious issues of life and death, though episodes also included a substantial amount of black comedy.

Jerzee still has time before being Ak'd, but I am hitting the hay early tonight and won't be online tommorow, so I forwarded my pick to Girly in the interest of keeping everything moving along and to keep Windom off my ass.
Oh, well, I think I am AK'ing Jerzee (sorry) and I will make my pick myself. Team Idiot Box would like to select in the category of Fantasy/Sci Fi, Supernatural. It's not officially listed in the fantasy category, but I think it fits there, given the demon chasing and such, that seems rather fantastic to me, but if people take issue, I will move it around.
The premise: two hot brothers chase down demons and assorted other bad stuff.
Yeah, it's listed as drama, thriller, mystery on IMDB. I figured it fit nicely in the fantasy category, but I know I ruffled some feathers with my placement of AD, so I was prepared to move it around.
I had supernatural on my short list for action/adventure. My gf got me into it. We all know why she watches the show, but its a good mix of humor and action. Plus some of the folk lore they go through is pretty interesting. Nice pick
Sorry for the delay in my pick - but! better late than never, I say!
Team TV Guide is happy to select from the Medical category, the David E. Kelley gem, Chicago Hope.
This series went head to head with ER and lost the battle in the ratings but where ER overwhelmed you in many cases with the visceral, reality of the hospital, Chicago Hope was the geeky intellectual with excellent writing and storylines. The series starred Mandy Patinkin, Alan Arkin, Hector Elizondo, Christine Lahti & Mark Harmon to name a few.
