GERMANY!!! Man did the Turks fight it out.
Germany with a less than impressive showing, but thats what makes a great team, finding a way to win even when you're not playing your best.

From the sounds of it, all the feeds went down. At least that's what TSN was telling everyone. Apparently there was lightning around the stadium or something. I dunno.

What a great game. Full credit to Turkey for never giving up. That team has a lot of heart. Tomorrow's Russia-Spain game should be a good one as well.

YES!!! GERMANY WINS!! The fact that they lost the feed for the END of the game was seriously annoying...
I'm not sure who I'd rather see in the final, Spain or Russia....both won't be that easy.

Prior to scoring the first goal today, TUR only held the lead for 9 minutes out of the entire tournament. Yet, they were on the verge of getting to the final.
A GER - ESP final wins my pool for me.

Another note, in 2 games for Turkey Rustu made 2 unreal goaltending errors both resulting in goals.
Today's lesson for Turkey? Discipline is important.

Exciting game yesterday, glad we somehow managed to win this one.
The German play was almost embarrassing at some points of the game but I guess that's what makes a typical champion. Teams that play great all the time (like Germany did at the last World Cup) normally get beaten at some point before the final.
Man, there was some huge celebrating going on everywhere everywhere in the streets after the game. The guys may have played poorly but at least the fans deserved this win!

I have some problems figuring out who's from Brazil in the German team??
