After wheel of time, I have pretty low expectations for rings of power. I've gotten the impression that the people making the show don't care about the LOTR legacy and see it more as a springboard for them to do their own thing. The original advertisement campaign focused on how diverse the new series was, it flopped and now they seem to be pivoting to selling it as Peter Jackson style tolkein. The new trailer looks great, but it looks a lot different than the show they were promoting 6 months ago. I hope it's good, but if the first episode sucks I'm out

Actually I think if you follow along with some of the nerds who focus on the details, they are keeping with the books as much as they can. But yeah, the concern is still there.
I finished Paper Girls. I loved the comic series but this was pretty low budget. The kids ended up being decent actresses but the writers went wayyy off the comics. The special effects are brutal too.
I've been thoroughly enjoying the Terminal List. Always good to see Taylor Kitsch again.
I've also loving All or Nothing Arsenal. Probably because my boss is an Arsenal fan and I love revelling in their losses, but i'm a sucker for any behind the scenes looks at a sports franchise.
In the UK Amazon has the football over the Boxing Day period. They use it as a loss leader when people sign up for 30 day prime for shopping. Many keep prime.
I like dazn and have resisted fubo but I’m going to have to get on the fubo train shortly.

I cancelled DAZN and got Fubo. DAZN lost EPL and then jacked up their price. Hard pass. I might get a few months closer to the end of NFL season.
I was afraid up front that it was going to be mainly focused on Maddie but it really wasn’t
Good to see some of the old cast pop up as well
I really enjoyed it. Finished on the typical cliffhanger. Looking forward to season 2. Crate and Barrel have to be two of my favorite supporting characters.
