It's the tale of two Elliotts.
He's been average since December 1, and had twice as many good games than bad.
He had a bad start, so sure, he's had a rough season in total, but he's been far from garbage for months now. He may not be amazing, but if you're calling for mid-pack goaltending? Congrats, you found it. Looks good doesn't it?

Of goalies who have started 20 games or more, Elliott is 43rd out of 47 goalies when it comes to save %.
That's bottom of the barrel. His season speaks for itself, he sucks.
