Rain has been playing havoc on this match. It's in the third set on serve with Genie serving 2-3, but still in a delay. Genie was up a set and a break but couldn't close it out.

So Maria....failed a drug test? Positive for meldonium which just went on the banned substances list January 1, 2016.

Capriati should remember that saying about glass houses, but she's certainly not angel.
Nike has dropped Sharapova for the time being. The optics of the whole situation don't look great, but is it wrong that I feel bad for her? I don't see Sharapova as a villain and want to give her the benefit of the doubt. I might be naive though.
