Seeing Crota go down when you're basically cheering on one guy is always a memorable experience.
At the same time, the amount of teamwork and communication needed is amazing to consider sometimes. Wonder how they'll incorporate RNG into hard mode...
Did the Vault of Glass for the first time today. Fun, intense, we had a good guy leading us through it and explaining things. Got some decent gear and materials. Definitely the best part of the game, really requires a co-ordinated effort.
Really excited to try VOG finally. Have my last final tomorrow morning, then I think I might be able to actually string together more than an hour of play time to give it a whirl.
I really want Vision of Confluence...my A.1F19X-RYL is fully upgraded, and I'm working on my Badger CCL, but dat solar burn on the VOC

Just had the most rewarding Crucible match ever... At the end got a random drop for 'Patience and Time', an exotic sniper rifle. Oh, and the match also ranked me up, so I got a package from the postmaster with a strange coin, ascendant energy, and a legendary pulse rifle, plus a crucible commendation.
I've definitely been blessed by rngesus... I have a titan who's at level 27 purely from legendary drops while playing with my hunter. Titan isn't even at vanguard rank 2.

Good haul from xur today. Patience and time, and bought a legendary helmet egram which turned into the knucklehead radar, pushing me to level 30.

Coming back from vacation, I'm a little behind the ball. But RNGesus always seems to good to me in the raid. Got the Vex Mythoclast from Atheon HM (as well as a 3rd Vision of Confluence lol)! And 36 light boots from ogre bridge guy in Crota. Outside of the raid I get crap though. Got 5 Strange Coins from Nightfall (wtf!) and had a legendary helmet engram turn into 3 shards.
On the plus side, I did manage to finish the thorn bounty, and hit Lv 31 finally. Gonna take a stab at Crota tonight.

Just got the thorn bounty, but I'm not sure if I'll ever finish the PvP portion, as I suck at Destiny PvP.
Almost finished the pocket infinity bounty though, so that's fun.

Most people I knew didn't bother with Iron Banner this time around but I was especially wanting the sniper rifle. Tied for highest impact in the game. Rerolled it with Armor Piercing Rounds and Final Round. Hits through walls and final round means 1-shot kill. A clip of some highlights once I unlocked the perks.

Yeah I played Iron Banner pretty casually this time around. Only made it to Rank 3. I was pretty focused on hitting Lv 31 and doing Crota this week.
Managed to down him last night about 30 mins before the reset. Wasn't that bad really. We all camped the room in the middle bottom and just took him down whenever he rotated to the middle. Seemed easier than camping the left side. Seemed easier than Ir Yut, who I haven't beaten yet.
Damn DDoS attack has been frustrating. So much holiday gaming time gone. At least I managed to log in on PS3 briefly earlier to upgrade my helm and Suros before it all went down again.
