Stroman had some location issues early, but settled down and pitched a pretty solid game. Still a young kid, he's got some potential.
Yanks win, Orioles lose, Jays are 6 games up on the Yanks. 6 games? Crazy.

This team is awfully fun to watch right now. Have I been fooled again? I don't think so. These guys are good. I have stopped waiting for the other shoe to drop. I think this team has the goods to make the playoffs at least.
By the way, this could very well be the kiss of death. I have a history of predicting things that blow up and go completely the other way. So blame me if this goes south.

In order to hit 92 wins and a potential playoff spot, they have to go 54-46 the rest of the way.

The Jays were a game below 500 on May 15th. Since then they are 18-3. It feels like this run has been going on a lot longer. Toronto was spinning their wheels like the rest of the East right up until that day. Another team in the East would pretty much have to duplicate this stupid streak by the Jays at some point just to get back into the race, assuming Toronto retreats to pre streak form. Frankly I don't see both of these things happening.

I think 88 wins gets a team a shot at the play in game. The AL East might not even need that many this year.

All the picks from 6 on were punts in order to save cash to sign others.

Per Sports Club Stats:
At 50-50, it's a 98% chance of playoffs. But that drops off quite a bit after that point.

He pushed guys down the pecking order and into their proper roles. Bullpen has definitely been rock solid since his return. Starters have gone deeper into games as well.

The jays have been taking a bunch of higher end skill guys in the draft in round 11 and beyond.
