Not good. Just read that Bergeron might have a spleen injury. That could be it for him.

I hope the Hawks finish off the Bruins on Monday, then the buy out period starts 48 hours later, we'll see some trades (Maybe even some Flames trades), then the draft, then free agency.....

Gonna be a busy couple weeks with hockey/Flames news.

Can't wait.

The spleen isn't a required organ necessarily, it gets removed commonly if it gets ruptured.

Also, not all spleen injuries even require surgery unless it's ruptured. A friend of mine bruised his spleen in a motorcycle accident recently, took a while to heal but he's fine.

I thanked your post, but damn it, you are getting me so excited that I can't wait. Damn it, man. Buyout begins at minimum 96 hours from now. 4 days. 4 freaking days I have to sit here and speculate. Sit and speculate and dream.

Really want the Hawks to end it Monday. Lets tuck this shortened season to bed and get going with the new one!

I was also wrong and will always be wrong, I voted Boston in 6. Very good chance this series goes 7.

Kelly Hrudey talked about it on the pre-game show during the warm-up. Said that he spoke to Nenshi earlier in the day, spoke highly of the job being done, the people and the city. I know he and his family live in Calgary so he does have a vested interest but he seems like a genuinely good guy. Nobody else really said much of anything which I guess isn't too shocking. I get the general sense CBC doesn't really give a s*** about Calgary, the city or the team.

I am surprised Cherry said nothing though he usually talks up the first responders and has some kinds words for the people in situations like this.

I wouldnt say CBC doesnt care. They've provided the best coverage by far nationally. Constant coverage as well. HNIC might not but their job right now is to cover the cup finals. I am sure there will be more later when all is said and done.

Boston will win game 6. You heard it here first. Also, for all you pansies crying that Ron Maclean or Don or Scott creepy ass Oake didn't give a shout out to Calgary in the aftermath of the flood...

all I have to say is, ask yourself... does it really fataing matter? Are you 10 years old? Stop crying. You sound like a complete baby...

Chicago Bears or Bruins Bears? If all you said was bears you could try to save this

So in terms of essential organ injuries, are we talking non essential and maybe partial removal... 'nice to have' or 'nice to halve'?

Sorry.

Sorry.

It is a 'nice to have' organ. If it is lacerated, or bleeding significantly you just take it out. It's major role is in the immune system, but people live normal healthy lives without one.

My bad, I meant to write HNIC, not CBC!

No suspension for Boychuk. Hit to the head from the blindside with his hands up. Kinda thought he should have got at least a game.

That was a rough game with Bergeron and Toews both getting banged up. I'm hopeful that Boston can get their game back but with the way Chicago has played the last couple games they seem to have figured out how to beat Boston, it's gonna be tough.
