That was a fantastic game to watch. I wasn't happy for a lot of it, and of course there were some questionable calls IMO. At the end of the day Kane stole the win and Spurs are the only unbeaten club in England. Oh, and beating West Ham at the last minute is just beautiful! Amazing!

Peterborough discover the problem with high visibility kits.

Slippy's departure letter to Galaxy fans.

Quote:
“When I left Liverpool, I came to Los Angeles with the goal of helping the Galaxy lift another MLS Cup,” read a statement from Gerrard on Galaxy’s website. “I am of course disappointed to have not achieved that objective, but I can look back at my time at the club with pride at what we accomplished, including two straight playoff appearances and countless memorable moments on the pitch."
Nothing new. Goodbye and sorry we didn't win anything.

He's exploring his options.

Celtic are only 10 clear with a game in hand so I suppose Rodgers will try and widen the gap to about 20 before signing him for a token title that even he couldn't screw up. Would be too risky for anything less.

I'd have more respect for him (actually, no I wouldn't), and Giggs for that matter also if they were prepared to cut their teeth in the lower leagues.

Giggs turned down the Swansea job because of "a lack of ambition". He still thinks he should be gifted the greatest of opportunities just because of his career as a player, which is simply ridiculous.

Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Manchester United will exercise their option to extend Zlatan Ibrahimovic's contract for a second season.

"Zlatan's situation is simple," Mourinho told a news conference ahead of Thursday's game against Feyenoord. "He has one plus one. We are happy with him. We are going to execute the option of a second season. After that he can do what he wants."

Disappointed to be honest. So far it would be fair to say he's been underwhelming.

I hope part of the talks was that he can possibly be expected to play back up because he has done nothing to warrant a starting position. But yet I fear him (and Rooney) are often penciled in simply to justify their high wages.

United should be looking where their last cycle of success came from ... youth.

Rooney is coming off the bench now so that's not a problem. Actually been pretty effective in limited minutes. Zlatan, like the whole team, just seems to unable to convert on good chances. They dominate possession and looks like it's leading up to a goal and then / NOTHING!

Zlatan would be a combination of Cristiano and Messi if every game were played on the pitch in his mind.

He still has more Champions League titles than Arsenal at least.

Helluva player. Was one of the main reasons I started supporting Liverpool. I hope he finds success in coaching so I can continue to see him on the big stage.

That Coutinho injury did not look good. Terrible news for Liverpool.

Swansea and Palace play the game of the year. Swansea up 3-1 after 68, Palace up 4-3 after 84, Swansea score two in stoppage time to win.

A real Spurs first half.

Totally in control and lose the lead right at the end.

That did not look good, that was a hard earned win. Firmino took a knock too, but 3 points is 3 points. Coutinho needs a rest before the ridiculous Christmas season.

Hopefully the Countinho injury is nothing too major. If hes out for any length of time this team is going to suffer for creativity.
