Anybody go their advance tickets yet? I'm going on Saturday.
How much money should I bring? Is there gonna be lots of sweet swag there or what?
I don't have too much interest in getting photos or anything. Wouldn't mind something signed by Tim Sale. How does that stuff work? Pay $20 or whatever and he'll sign something?

Haven't got the advanced tickets yet, and the website still says pending for my order. Not sure what's going on there. Bring lots of money if you intend on buying stuff, especially autographs.

Bring at least $3000 in cash. I only take cash. hehe
Artists don't charge for signings. only if they do a sketch for you, and i totally want a batman sketch from him. It might be like $200 though.

The only people who charge for autographs are the media guests. None of the comic artists or writers would charge for that. If they do tell them to f off! hehe

I assume you know that Felicia Day and the entire cast of The Guild will be there? (sorry, saw your post from December, so it's a bit of a bump from the original post, sorry). I don't follow comic books or sci-fi, but I do love The Guild (though I'm a season behind!)

For sure. i have my canucks jersey and i have been practicing that head snap since late March.
ugh. i finally pulled everything out of storage and i think i will refer to my inventory in lbs and not numbers anymore. i have at least 10000 lbs worth of merchandise.

I've got my weekend pass. Sad that George Perez had to withdraw, but it should be a fun time nonetheless. I enjoy going through all the artists' booths looking for unique pieces. Strapping my infant son to my chest on Sunday.

Hopefully with the addition of the 3rd hall and the corral will lighten up the traffic. If you did that last year you would have been arrested for child abuse.

I saw Nimoy last year. I don't know if I want to brave the crowds and lineups again. Doesn't help that none of my friends are geeks and actually like this stuff so I went alone.

If you haven't found it already it is $25 at the door and $20 advance.
They are sold out at Words & Pictures BTW. I had to go to Red Skull.
Best part is that you get in at 930am instead of 1030am with advance tix.
