sat mornings in the early 80's and the freedom to play atari 2600 for 2 straight days with any annoyance..now i cant even play a game for 10 minutes without getting bored by it.

Riding a bike without a helmet
sniffing whiteout till you got a buzz
playing hockey without a mask
never sitting in a booster seat or childs car seat
not wearing a seatbelt
buying smokes for my dad
afraid of older kids cause they would kick my butt
seeing a kid getting smacked when they acted up in a store
kids walked to and from school
getting benched in sports if you were not good
the only person that gets a trophy is the winner
every kid in my class lived with both parents
kids that did bad in school stayed behind a grade
if a kid brought a knife to school it was cool
having a teacher/coach giving you a hug when you did well
not being afraid of men in parks
nobody I went to school with had a prescription
my dad didn't have to write a test so I could play hockey
having a BB gun in the park
collecting for UNICEF on Halloween
having only one fat kid in a class of 20
staying out till the streetlights came on
not having to fight a bum if you are collecting bottles
watching kids fight and it was one on one only
having one tv so we all watched the same show Carol Brunette/Disney/beachcombers
if somebody offered you a ride you took it, stranger or not
now that you have read this get off my lawn!

I enjoyed beating up on my younger brother the most. Sadly he's now 30 pounds heavier than I am and could lay the smack down on my arse if he wanted to.....
