I think 10000 Days is my favorite. I also think I'm in the minority. After seeing them live for the first time this summer I can't wait to see what they put out next.

It was recorded during the Badmotorfinger sessions. So new to us, but not new.

10000 Days is a solid album. I think Tool are in a tough spot now. They have such a die hard fanbase and quite a reputation that anything they put out will undergo intense scrutiny. Add to that the fact that it takes half a decade for them to release an album, and they hype gets enormous.

10000 days was certainly a good album, but for me Lateralus was their masterpiece. I mean Schism, Parabola, Ticks and Leaches, Lateralus, The Grudge, etc. That album was amazing.
But 10000 days has certainly grown on me. I never liked Wings Part 1 or 2, but after sitting down and listening to them in full, they are truly amazing. Love just chilling and listen to those two songs. So good.
With that said, there albums may have 13 songs, but only 6-8 of them are actual songs, the others are just weird noises (IMO) that usually don't last very long.

I for one wish that Faith No More would get their butts in gear and release some new material. Their reunion tour is done at the end of this year, so they better get back in the studio. Or else.
Also, I hate them for not coming to Canada during this tour. Or even bloody Seattle. Seriously guys, WTF??
