Nick and Vicki dumb their way to last place but Phil keeps them in with a non-elimination round.
Dont take any bets they will last any longer than the next round.

Seems like Russia has got better at English....in past episodes it was a real barrier, didnt appear to be the same issues this time around.

Hilarious to see teams dressed up as Babushka's!!

Any idea why Nick/Vicki didn't have a speed bump on this episode? Seems like a total sham for the other teams.

Ouch, my first hit. Must say AR had some faults. Where was nick and Vicki's speed bump? And on stephanie's last throw at the road block, it clearly shows her leaving some pegs on the board, but they continue on anyways. Oh well, michael/Kevin had a terrible leg of the race!

Okay, I thought I was crazy and missed that.

In the past they've cut out tasks when other stuff happened in an episode that was more interesting (the episode that was shot in Calgary/Banff included a task where the teams had to build a teepee, but it was cut out because there was drama with teams trying to re-book flights from Denver to Dallas after checking their bags from Calgary to Denver), but I'm surprised they would have cut out any mention of the speed bump at all.

Considering the last speed bump was sitting on a block of ice for 10 minutes, I'm sure whatever Dumb and Dumber had to do was uneventful and didn't affect the outcome, but they should have at least shown it.

This episode was all about "READ YOUR CLUES".
I think the Speed Bump must happen in the next episode.

For what it's worth, according to the discussion forum on CBS.com, Nick and Vicky completed the piano challenge on the last leg a lot sooner but the person giving out the clue kept telling them they were wrong because they gave the sheets to him out of order (or something like that).

As a result of this error, rather than try to figure out what would have happened, the producers decided to make it a non-elimination leg with no subsequent Speed Bump. This also might explain the seemingly random "hours of operation" bunch-up at the start of this leg.

ya I read a review of it where it said that was the case, I wonder if maybe thats why they made it a NEL and set the circus up to start when everyone got there

when it was seemingly the middle of the day

Because it could have screwed more than just them up, a bunch of teams tried and failed for a long time at the Piano challenge

Gary and Mallory take a bullet and are eliminated.
Jill and Thomas take the stupid award for not reading clues and lose out on first place to the Chad and Stephanie.
Chad And Stephanie sleep in on first leg of the night by an hour and a half and still manage to win the leg.

I wonder how lost Gary and Mallory actually became? I get the feeling that they drove for several hours in the wrong direction before turning around.

I think I heard them saying they were driving around for close to 9 hours.

They were probably several hours apart. When Nat and Kat were filling their water truck there was still a little bit of daylight left. Gary and Mallory were filling their water truck at 1:30 in the morning.

I liked Stephanie because she kind of looks like Trish Stratus, but I'm not upset to see Chad and Stephanie get eliminated tonight.

Was it just me, or did Jill seem dumber than a box of rocks tonight? Have they shown that in the past, or did it come out of nowhere?

I hope both of the all-female teams make it to the final 3, but next week will more than likely be a non-elimination leg (because of the double U-turn, I was thinking this week might be a non-elimination).

The Chad and Stephanie go from first to worst and get the boot. I dunno about you guys but I think their imminent marriage is going to be a short union, he is simply too hot headed!

What a stink hole dump of a place Bangladesh is. I could literally smell the stench through my TV screen.
Dumb and Dumber manage to hang in again, in 2nd place yet. Can Vicki be any dumber not to U-Turn a team behind them?
