I think there is another Jimmy's on 4th Street now too.

That sandwich looks terrible. Are you sure it didn't come from a NY deli?

It's usually not that bad. I didn't go today but it sounds like they only had one guy making sandwiches? They now usually have 2 and wait times are about 10 mins. That said it's not a quick lunch destination, more of a middle ground between a pub/restaurant or a wonder bread hole in the wall.

Did they use all the sandwich meat in the world for that?

I waited for about an hour for my sandwich and apparently got mine right before enthused.
Fantastic sandwich, wasn't the biggest fan of the baugette bread but will definitely try the foccacia next time around.

Nope, it's Cochrane. Most of their sandwiches are a reasonable size and $4-$5. They have a pretty large selection, and Guy made this one because a lot of people go in, and when asked what they'd like, the response is, "I don't know, I'm not sure yet". It's pretty much an "everything" sandwich and more of a joke, but if you want it, they'll make it. It rarely get's ordered, but I had to see if I could conquer the thing so I got it one day. If you can eat it, you get a free baking item. I couldn't do it.

Not a place to grab a quick sandwich. They have two people working there. The order taker/waitress/capuccino maker and the sandwich maker. There were 5 sandwiches in front of me and it took 20 minuites after ordering. he takes his time making them, which is great.
There had to be 25 sandwiches in the que when I recieved mine. Those people will be waiting for an hour at the same rate. Maybe someone called in sick today.
Really good though, plenty of meat, fresh ingrediants, super soft focaccia. I would have preferred on a baguette though, which I think is an option.
The meatball sub looked really good. I thinkit was $11 for large and $8 for small.
Mine was $12 but you can get a $9 size too.

I was in there Wednesday, at 1PM and he was out of Focaccia. She told me it was a really busy lunch, and I smiled.
Cafe Mauro used to be where Fashion Central was a few years back. It was lined up at lunch then, but you waited cause you knew what you were waiting for. His new location doesn't quite get the traffic the old one did, which I find odd.
It's like the train tracks in Calgary are a virtual fence. People north of 9th Ave won't wander south a few blocks to get a proper sandwich.

Yes, that would be your fault.
And mine, since I stood in that ridiculously long lineup!!
