Holy Jebus what a terrible lob pass, almost an interception. And down goes Burris.

FG good a 5 point lead.

Huge 2nd down here, if they get it, should be game. Well that didn't go well.

What is the secondary doing out there?

You are playing Winnipeg with Jyles at QB should have been a walk in the park for them tonight.

That was close to being a penalty, break for Calgary.

That's it, turnover on downs. Stamps squeak out a win.

Well a win is a win but that was way too close against a terrible team.

Defensive backfield looked great last week and this week they looked way to lazy/passive out there.

31 seconds left in the game. Calgary 23-18. Whew..... that was close.
Calgary just need to kill the time.

This ain't over, is it just me or is that really poor clock management? Never mind, that's gonna do it. Ugly win, but Winnipeg played well.

Meh, Bombers didn't play their best and almost came back; D-line just needs to be much more consistent. Plus, Serna is awful.

Less than 10 seconds left on the clock, pretty much 0 chance that the Bombers can do anything with that.

And even less with a play like that.

Good to see the classy hit by the Bomber at the end there as well.

I would look at the offense that couldn't do anything outside of 2 plays before the defensive line.

What the F was that final play? There must be a better way to kill the clock than that.

So does Burris and Bryant get a -25 yard pass on that?

That's the safe way to kill the clock nothing wrong with it. If you don't run the ball around in the end zone, you risk being tackled and giving up the ball. In the end zone you can concede the points.

The Stamps should have put this game away, Burris going for all the marbles instead of just marching down the field with about 3:00 left was just dumb football.

IMO Jyles lost that game for the Bombers.

Constantly throwing long bombs, and only got lucky a couple times on a pass interference, and a completely boneheaded play on a 3 and 1, going for the long bomb, and only getting the call because Calgary was offside.

Win is a win though. 4-1 is better than 3-2.

Defence did the job again and the offence played one good half. Not enough ground game in the first half and the Bombers started manhandling the O-line because of it. Still, beats hell out of losing.

The game was totally under control until Burris fumbled on the Bombers 30 yard line in the 3rd which was a three point turnaround as the Bombers got a field goal. Burris needs to learn to just take the sack and take the three points. Teams are all over his pump fakes. He also overthrew Bryant at least twice when he was wide open. Not piling on Burris but he's turned the ball over too many times this season.

I thought Jyles was pretty good considering he's not the starter. Didn't throw anything close to being intercepted. Bombers hung around but the score flattered them as the Sampeders let off the gas in the 2nd half.

Stampeders is now 4-1 in the season. Blue Bombers put a scare on the Stamps tonight.

I thought the Stamps dominated the game all night but they were some series that Stamps made some mistakes that cost them some points.

On offense, Nik Lewis had a great game. The best catch he made was he jumped over the safety Browne. That made Browne looks ridiculous. I can just hear Lewis yelling GERONIMO!! Okay, the best Nik Lewis catch was in the first half with 64 yards receptions. Rambo, on the other hand was a little active in the first half and even scored a TD. 2nd half, he only caught a few passes. Romby Bryant could have a huge game if it wasn't for those two overthrown passes by Burris. Deon Murphy scored a TD on offense and made some good returns all night.Burris threw 340 yards tonight and I thought played good. Reynolds and Cornish was a non-factor tonight though. Offensive line played well in the first half but had a hard time stopping the Bombers DLine group of Odell Willis, Doug Brown and Philip Hunt.

Calgary defense played well in the first half except for a few series. One, they let Reid ran the ball for a TD. In the second half, they concentrate on stopping Fred Reid more and sort of relax a bit in passing play. They actually played well in the passing game except for some series where they blown a coverage but only a few of them made them paid for it. Luckily for the Stamps DBs, Edwards couldn't hold onto the ball a few times. Kudos to Steven Jyles though. He showed he can throw the ball.

Special Teams: Punter Burke Dales always delivers whenever he punt the ball. His ball positioning is improving every game. Kicker Rob Maver is making us forget that guy Sandro. So far he only missed one field goal this season. Returner Deon Murphy is very exciting to watch on both kickoff or punt return. Nice to see someone trying in punt return for a change.

Calgary Stampeders won 23-20.

Bryant got a rush for a loss of 28.

If Winnipeg is in our conference, I think they just kick the ball away. But points differential doesn't matter one bit out of conference.

Even If it was in conference, you could just have Bryant run around for a couple of seconds, then lob up a long bomb pass, as long as the ball crosses the line of scrimmage.
