Good first period. Brandon looks stronger though.

Nice goal there for Brandon. Moncton needs to turn this game around or their tournament is over. I don't see them beating Windsor.

lol. Riopel had a case given Schenn's delayed reaction flop onto him at the end, but after his acting job yesterday, I'm not sad there was no goalie interference penalty.
3-0 Brandon after two, and Moncton is coming unglued.

Hopefully Moncton can rally to beat Windsor when they play and the Hitmen can beat both teams they have to play, allowing for a bye for the hitmen.

^ We need only to win our games to get the bye.
"Only"
4-0 Brandon. Good night Moncton, thanks for coming out. It's now a three team tournament, imo.

I thought I heard yesterday that Moncton took the bus to Brandon, that is a 3 day drive. That team has to be exhausted. They wrapped up the Q on Monday, probably left Tuesday morning, arrive in Thursday? Practice on Friday and play back to back Saturday and Sunday. I guess then you can add in how they lost to the Hitmen yesterday. Too bad, because for 2 + periods they were very good vs the Hitmen. And kinda thought they would beat Brandon.

Moncton 0-2. Hitmen virtually assured of a spot in the Semi's at the least.

Calgary/Windsor today! Could be the game of the tourney.
I'm gonna say 3-2 Windsor. Hoping for Calgary though.

So hypothetically speaking, let's say the Hitmen win tonight but lose to Brandon. Windsor beats Moncton.
That would leave three teams at 2-1 tied for first place. Who would get the bye?

i would think it would be the team with the best GF/GA ratio vs each other?

Ugly start for the Hitmen and more specifically Jones who has given up 2 weak goals. No Kozun tonight for the Hitmen.

Jones has let the team down after they had a decent start. I'm not so sure you can spot Windsor a two-goal lead and come back like against Moncton.

Great coverage of the Memorial Cup in the United States. Every game has been on TV. I don't watch CHL hockey regularly but I have been watching this tournament to see how Hall and Rajala are playing. I hope Windsor wins the tourney.
GO HALL!

It's been over ten years since Hitmen were in the MemCup. I am just wondering does any one of you know where to get that MemCup badge?

The Hitmen were the better team that period, just couldn't get one in the net.

They dominated the latter half of that period but goaltending was the difference. One team got the timely saves, the other didn't.
If they can chip one in in the 2nd I think it'll be a different game.

Anyone watch that Hall interview? It looked like such a second rate production.
Their goaltending was pretty good that period. Let's go hitman!!
