Yeah definitely don't cut it off. Just get a knife to push the prongs in and it'll come off easily! That way, you can give the wristband to non-UofC students. They only check gov't ID at the gate

In 1985 the Engineers were launching water balloons across the campus from a catapult on the roof.

Then they learned how to hang a car from the entrance arch.

In 2001 I fell through the top of one of the ice sculptures they built. Apparently that ice hut was not built for drunken roofing inspections.

Can you not sneak a non U of C student in this year?
They're scanning IDs when you buy a wristband. I'm assuming this "logs" your purchase and you can't buy a second one.
Or I'm I mistaken and that's just to check the ID or something?
Have people been buying more than one?

If you get a second wristband, they are only checking gov't id at the gate. So figure out how to get one (there's a bunch of recommendations earlier in the thread) and you should be fine.

Take a wristband from a student who isn't going. All you need to do to remove the wristband is insert a bic pen tip into the circle and push it in

What's the deal with the beer mile? Do we bring our own or pay for beer there?
