Main difference right now between a Knuble/Smyth and Nemisz is willingness to take abuse. He could develop it... but its something he'll have to work on.

Rob Neidermayer actually isn't a bad comparable although I would say Nemisz has a body type where he could put on more weight and be more physically imposing than Neidermayer.

I don't think Nemisz compares to Rob Niedermayer that well other than size. Niedermayer was a better/stronger skater at 20 yrs. old than Nemisz. Nemisz is more of a scorer/playmaker from what I've seen. Knuble could be a good comparison.

I just hope people are comparing 18-20 yr. old juniors with Nemisz in 10 years hoping they will be as good as him.

Neidermayer was just as good of a scorer as Nemisz in junior. Neidermayer had 43 goals in the WHL at 18, Nemisz had 36... but you are right that Neidermayer is a better skater...

who knows... hard to compare guy to guy.

And with Windsor's big comeback this guarantees a Flames prospect will play in the Memorial Cup tournament!

Nemisz has shown more offense at the OHL level than Chucko showed at the college level. Not sure why anyone would think Nemisz resembles Chucko. I think Nemisz is closer in potential to Backlund than he is to Chucko.

You are not allowed to be positive about the flames prospects anymore, because they were chosen by Sutter, and he is now the devil.

Well in that case he'll do just fine playing with Backlund.

Windsor now up 2-0 with a 5-4 win last night in Barrie.

So far Nemisz has one assist and is even in two games while Brodie is even with 2 assists.

Watched both games and Nemisz has not really been noticeable yet in the series. Brodie and Prout have the job of shutting down Taylor Hall and they have done a superb job in the first two games but now back to Windsor where the Spits have the last change.

Windsor is in control of the series but Barrie turned it up in the third period when down by two and really hemmed the Spits in their own end.

Should be a couple of exciting games in Windsor.

Nemisz has a potential upside of a John LeClair type of player, and downside that of Wayne Primeau. With how he's played and the little I've seen him, I think he's trending more towards Wayne Primeau....

Not sure why he would be labelled as a checker type of player? The guy has produced at Junior.

Its a tad earlier to say he is a checker....Its really..really earlier to compare him to a first line power Winger.

I would think Nemisz is no where near 100% healthy in the Playoffs.

To be fair, in his draft year, Primeau was considered the exact same type of player Nemisz is and in his last year in the OHL, Primeau had the same amount of goals and a ton more assists that Nemisz. Primeau was drafted 7 spots ahead in his draft year as well. If Nemisz's offensive skills don't translate over to the NHL, he could find himself in a role where he is forced to be a defensively oriented player or an AHLer. That would be worse case scenario though.

Greg Nemisz was named to OHL's third All-Star team as right winger. Newest acquisition Bryan Cameron was right winger in first team. No TJ Brodie.

Game starting now. Besides Nemitz and T J Brodie, we have another prospect to watch with the signing of Cameron.

Cameron's got a nice hard shot, needs to hit the net though.

Brodie's looking very good.

Except that Primeau is/was faster and a better skater than Nemisz
