I agree that motion controls dont really translate well for hardcore gamers. IMO Kinect is more of a fun/party toy than a real gaming perephrial. I cant really see it being put to good use in games like Call of Duty or Halo. Like someone mentioned it might be good for certain things like fighting in NHL 12 or something, but who knows. I wouldnt put much stock into Kinect IMO.

P.S. Kinect sports is really fun, plus you can do stuff over Xbox Live.

we got one of these bad boys for christmas and i was blown away and think it is pretty cool - almost mind blowing (i grew up with video pong, atari 2600 and intellevision)

it will be cool once they release some version of call of duty it will be epic.

my son (8) also got NHL slapshot for the Wii and that is a pretty cool - he has played so much Ièll likely never beat him....

A Star Wars game is coming out fairly soon, I am just all too interested to see how that works.
