I loved the 2.2 mods that were out there, they just lacked some of the polish of ROMS's that ran HTC Sense UI. If I could find a 2.2 ROM that had good calendar that synced nicely with Outlook 07, I'd be a pretty happy camper. Many of the 2.2 ROM's really seemed to be good on batter power too.

you can download ShootMe from the app market and then taking a screenshot is as simple as shaking your phone. you will most likely need to be rooted for it to work though

Tried, there isn't any way I can check all that. I don't have a FB app downloaded to the front screen because the dang thing kept asking for my password.

I'm having issues trying to get a dang wallpaper to fit to the screen. Even if I take it with the phones camera it stretches it out super bad and you can only see about 1/4 of the picture.

On mine you can crop the picture when you set it to your background.

so the brand new LG Optimus 2X just had it's system OS dumped and as a result 4 brand new live wallpapers have been released that should work on most 2.2 or higher phones
http://forum.androidcentral.com/lg-o...s-2x-dump.html
i have the fireworks one running on my Desire Z and it looks fantastic, i like it so much that it's become my new default background. whenever you press on an unoccupied part of the screen a firework will shoot up, and having them fire randomly when the screen is on is quite neat

I didn't realize the picture moved along with the home page (droid 2 global)
Still, I wish I could get the dang thing to just fit to the page and not move at all.

ADW launcher or launcher pro allow you to keep the wallpaper from moving with the page.

Rockplayer! plays everything directly with no converting in most situations. Reads avi files the best though.

Yeah I bought the nesoid, but returned it within the day. It was just near impossible to be precise with the buttons. It's the most popular one so might have just been that I suck.

Touch screen isn't the easiest to use when playing some of the emulated games... Playing Contra is twice as hard as I remember. This is made worse by the buttons being translucent so I don't hit the right spot half the time.
