I'll probably be at work for another hour, so I'd say likely 9:30 p.m. by the time i get home and walk the dog and kick the wife off the TV and such. That is, assuming the Flames game is done.

Been playing quite a few games with Mad Cat lately and I realized I can't stand playing with the CPU forwards. They do the most sporadic things sometimes and seem to like to pass to me in any and every circumstance..even when I don't call for it.
Seems like I play a lot better with at least one other forward.

Maybe I'll have to switch back to forward when it's just us two...my O-Dman is pretty decent as a power forward.
Edit: I could use the change of position too, seems I've allowed a few too many breakaways the last game or two...

I'll be the forward, I hate playing with MOST human forwards. I find most are totally incompetent at the position. I am a natural d-man myself but at least when I am forward I have the ability to NOT pass in groups of 7 guys hoping my guy gets the puck.
A good strategy is to actually communicate. I like to hold on to the puck in the same spot for a few seconds, because most times I will get like 3 guys come chase me, then I pass it out when our guys are clear. The problem with doing this, is that in community games people think I am an ass and they don't pass to me anymore, even though I'll have 3 assists.

Good call, I find computers though usually just stand still in the offensive zone alot of the time, or at the very least are predictable in their movements, and are much easier to defend. The one problem I find with OTP games at least is that Human players almost never use the points or even try to get a cycle going, had no problem with that in the club though.

I can't stand OTP when I am a defenseman. I will stand there by myself while someone is being triple teamed, and they refuse to pass the puck and then it is stolen and they go on a 3-1 because my other defense partner was pinching for no reason.

Can't wait to get into a game on EAHSL. I've been playing for ages with my two roomies, often on the same team, so I have some sort of an idea how to actually play like a teammate.
There's nothing like a good cycle or series of give and go's that ends in a goal. So satisfying...gets the entire team involved and everybody feels like they contributed to the goal.

let's play right now
Edit: ooh I finally have a few records in the EASHL league. Most fights with 96 and most PIM's with 529.
I don't know how Eliminator got 10 penalties in one game but that is a record as well. 10 penalties? Holy smokes!

I like playing defense but I'm definitely one of the people that pinches all the time haha. I'll play center, seeing as I've been decent at that before.
Also, when we have 6 guys, would you guys rather split into two 3 man teams? Or stay and fill every position?
