Anyone else having issues with punkbuster?? I keep getting kicked from the servers.

Tip for PC users, the field of view in this game is terrible, it's locked for a ratio to increase framerate for lower powered consoles.

This will help you in the game and also give you more area to see which will give you an advantage in multiplayer. It shouldn't trip punkbuster as it's just a resolution setting.

I downloaded and played a bit last night by logging into a friend's steam account while they were sleeping.

The 7900 GT videocard that I have thanks to a generous CP member (8800GT died on me, the RMA returned card was also defective) could only muster 1440x900 resolution and lower graphics.

I will check out this game again when I can afford a better card.

This is the best FPS i've ever played and yes I have played Half-Life, Battlefield 2, Doom, Halo, COD, etc.

Definitely one of the best multiplayer games. Now if only I could login to a US server and not a Russian one where I have 170 ping.

Before the login servers imploded last night I got in as gunner in the Apache with probably one of the best pilots I've ever played with. I'm a pretty good gunner in that thing and it was probably the most ruthless tandem I've ever witnessed. This guy could do these sick sideways 180 half barrel rolls to whip around on the enemy chopper and UAV. I wish I could fly like that.

God, I need to get home and play.

Your stats might be gone. I started today as a private 1st class despite leveling up last night.

Ambient noise gets intensified. Once you hear the loud crack of a sniper rifle you won't go back. Excellent sound design in this game.

I've tried the single player and thus far I feel it's pretty horrible. Short spurts of gameplay followed by a bunch of cutscenes.

From what I've read online, the whole campaign is pretty much like this. At least the multiplayer is pretty much the most fun thing ever.
