I just hope they give these lines a GOOD chance, not mess around with them again before the first period is over. It's like musical chairs out there. Oh, and has anyone else noticed, Heatley is a freakin fountain, he spits continuously!

At this point, I am betting Iginla isn't on the Crosby line for any real length of time. If they play well and win in Germany, I wouldn't be surprised to see him rotated out of that spot for the Russia game.

umm, did Babcock just say that you couldn't change goalies right now, at this point, cause that would mean you'd lost? I'm confused by that clip.

Babcock really needs to solidify lineups and give players a chance to play with each other over time. Switching the lineups over and over, even after the game against Germany is not the solution. This is a short sudden death tournament and Team Canada doesn't have that much more time to experiment with lineups.

I think he means that there's not going to be another goalie change, because if Luongo craps the bed (requiring a goalie change) that means Canada's out.

I really don't think the SJ line has been playing too well. Heatley is scoring goals but I don't think his linemates are contributing that much to his success. Thornton has stunk.
I'd like to see the Heatley-Getzlaf-Nash line reunited from the WCs.

After everything is said and done. Babcock should be grilled as to why Iginla was removed from the #1 line to begin with Babcock had NO reason to do so. Iginla has yet to be on the Ice when any goal has been scored against Canada. Iginla leads the team in Goals. Babcock should be held accountable for obviously trying to mess with Jaromes confidence. The question for me is why?
I would imagine Crosby himself wanted Iginla as a linemate right from game One.
Cutting back line #1 ice time in general is questionable.
Not starting line #1 on several PP and then that PP ultimatly failed.
Babcock on record said that the Heatley Thornton Marleau was his #1 line. What?
Benching Doughty has been another big question mark for one GA vs the Swiss.
Stripping the A from Iginla to start the USA game for what?
He goes back to Iginla only when the USA game was a point of desperation and basically lost.
Just A guess that perhaps the upper management of Team Canada who of course respect what Gretzky would have to say on the situation maybe asked some advise. I could see that as a real possability.
Gretzky is a big fan of Iginla maybe pointed out enough is enough you have to get chemestry with Crosby, Iginla clearly paid off with results. Nash is wanting to score for himself and not making team first decisions. Crosby's play has been effected by that. Move Nash to the second line.
There is no doubt in my mind that Yzerman, Holland, Armstrong, Lowe, Hitchcock, Ruff etc collectivly forced Babcock's hand.
Babcock has been a hypocrit these entire games.

I think Babcock has over-coached this team to death. IMO, that's part of what Yzerman meant when he said the Canada team is thinking too much.

Agree with most of your post but it has been mentioned that the A is a rotation and the IIHF only allows two A's on the roster.
