This show is so awesome, I love the interaction between Raylan and Art this year, right behind Raylan/Boyd in terms of awesomeness. Then you add in the Crowder/Givens/Bennett feud - wow just outstanding writing and acting

AND, it has been announced that season 3 is a go, in case anyone was still in the dark about that.

Hey, you're from Edmonton, right?

So what's it like living in Harlan County's sister territory?

Just finished watching the finale.

Wasn't expecting that ending at all. Looking forward to season 3 and discussing season 2 when everyone has caught up!

Watching the finale, I was sure Wynona was done for when they had the scene in the bathroom. Regarding the very end, I saw that as soon as Mags went to the bar when Loretta first entered the room. Didn't know how it would get there, but figured it was coming.

The trouble is, the Bennett arc was so good, it's hard to see the third season not doomed to be a let down.

Edit: If Margo Martindale (Mags) and Kaitlyn Dever (Loretta) don't receive awards for their performances, there's no justice.

Martindale was great in Dexter too. Especially in her deathbed scenes.

That's right! Good call there. Definitely shows a bit of range for her as an actor.

This show is bizarre in the way they present the culture of Harlan and area, but very enjoyable. I love the polite exchanges even when everyone is holding guns at each other.

I'd be a might bit please if they were so kind as to grace us with a third season.

The ending was different I think. Never really expected it. But they really set it up for Season 3.

Can't wait!

So....

What did everyone think of season 3? I thought it was outstanding again. The Robert Quarels character was gold.

The season finale airs this week in Canada Dis!

Thankfully I just read your first sentence then remembered we're a week behind you.

The season started out slow, but the last couple episodes have been great. Boyd is one of my favorite characters.

Robert Quarles is a great character, Neal McDonough is a solid actor... He was amazing in Band of Brothers

I was happy with it, I always expected a bit of a drop just because Mags was so good in season 2, but Quarles and Limehouse were great additions and I liked all the stuff with Boyd this year as well

That's where he was from!

Overall, a good season, but a bit of a step back from season 2. Quarels is great, as are Dickie, Duffy, and Limehouse, not to mention the Crowder gang, but there were so many characters it became a little unfocused, as opposed to season 2 where Mags and her kin were the main adversary throughout.

Still very good, but just not quite as great.

As DFF knows, I'm a huge fan of this series. This was another great season as far as I'm concerned, and I'm glad it was once again renewed for another season. I only wish it wasn't on Superchannelmup here. Who the hell actually subscribes to that?
